Final version of baby Zoe which required me to add a small amount of acrylic to get highlights.
This painting is for my great-niece Zoe’s nursery and features newborn Zoe with her dog-brother Fred and three fairy friends to guide the way. It is a Whimsical tribute to a child beginning life’s journey. Zoe’s Grandmother, Dawn, is a landscape designer thus a garden seemed a fun way to honor her too. Zoe’s Grandfather Don love’s bassets and has owned several through the years which is where Zoe’s parents came to love the breed. Unframed Insurance value $1,500.

In the collection in Northern California.
